Introducing ContacEZ Restorative Strip System,
Your Proximal Contact Solution
It’s as Easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Adjust -
ContacEZ Diamond Dental Strip,
the ideal proximal contact solution
2. Clean -
ContacEZ Serrated Dental Strip,
the interproximal space cleaner
3. Polish -
ContacEZ Final Polishing Strip,
the proximal surface polisher
Step 1 - ContacEZ Diamond Dental Strip,
the ideal proximal contact solution
Place the ceramic crown on the abutment and press up to the prepared margin. There will be resistance to seating the crown against the prepared margin due to heavy proximal contacts.

Insert the ContacEZ Diamond Dental Strip into the distal interproximal space with the abrasive side facing the crown. Pass the strip buccolingually a few times to check interproximal pressure against the strip. Repeat this procedure in the mesial interproximal space.

When more pressure is detected in the mesial than the distal interproximal space, pass the ContacEZ Diamond Dental Strip buccolingually a few more times (5-6 times), through the mesial space until there is light resistance in the interproximal space.
When light resistance in both the mesial and distal interproximal spaces is equal, the ideal proximal contact adjustment of the crown is complete.
Step 2 - ContacEZ Serrated Dental Strip,
the interproximal space cleaner
Cement the crown and light cure to harden the resin cement.

Remove the excess resin cement around the crown with an explorer. Pass the ContacEZ Serrated Dental Strip back and forth gentaly and buccolingually (do not press down) to cut and clean out the remaining resin cement in the distal and mesial interproximal spaces.

Step 3 - ContacEZ Final Polishing Strip,
the proximal surface polisher
Gently pass the ContacEZ Final Polishing Strip through the mesial and distal proximal surfaces to polish and restore to a natural fine finish.

Ideal proximal contacts can be confirmed using the ContacEZ Final Polishing Strip. Dental floss will pass through the interproximal contacts with heavy resistance - snapping in and snapping out. Crown seating is complete.
