An 83 year-old male patient came in with tooth #26 loose.
The radiograph showed excessive alveolar bone loss around the root of the tooth. Tooth #26 was extracted and a resin tooth was attached to the lower partial denture.
When the partial denture was seated, the patient complained of excessive pressure on tooth #27.
