Removing Sharp edges

After prepping a crown abutment, it is common to find sharp edges on the proximal surfaces of adjacent teeth. It is important to smooth and round these edges to ensure that the newly fabricated crown fits perfectly.

Fig. 1 - After prepping the abutment on tooth #5, rough composite is found on the mesial surface of tooth #4. By using the ContacEZ Black Strip the proximal surface is rounded and smoothened.
